How does the Email Bridge work?

When you forward Jane notification emails to your unique Bridge address, our system securely parses the email content to extract client and appointment information. This data is then imported into UnicornCRM, creating or updating client records and sessions automatically.

Is the Email Bridge secure?

Yes. All emails are received through encrypted connections (TLS required), processed in Canadian data centers, and stored with KMS encryption. We never log email content—only metadata for audit purposes. The entire pipeline is PHIPA compliant.

Will my Jane data be affected?

No. The Email Bridge is read-only. We parse information from forwarded emails but never write back to Jane. Your Jane account remains completely unchanged and continues to be your source of truth for scheduling and billing.

What information is imported from Jane emails?

We extract client name, email, phone number, appointment date/time, session type, and any notes included in the notification. You can review all imported data before confirming.

Can I use UnicornCRM without Jane?

Absolutely! UnicornCRM works great as a standalone practice management system with full scheduling, client management, and video sessions. Jane Bridge is an optional feature for practices that want to use both platforms together.
